With the highly successful live arts festival at Casula powerhouse ‘ Art Manoeuver’ in both 2008 and 2009 (supported by Liverpool city council) Art Manoeuver, curated by Annette Tzavaras’ proved to be interactive experience with an interesting blend of expressive art forms gelled into one awesome day out for both artists and the community. An inventive, outdoor exhibition, it allows us to exercise our creativity while interacting with the community. In 2010 SWAN is again proposing to holding art Manouvre at the Casula Powerhouse. The event has given the group the momentum, and the opportunity to express an array of varied concepts and themes in a a host of different art practices from sand sculpture to cermaic workshops, Hybrid performnace art to installation and live painting. Below we have posted some images of the event, a mix of images from both 2008 and 2009. We welcome artists to get involved with art manoeuvre in 2010 and join SWAN in another action packed afternoon of art-making, audience participation, technical demonstrations, performance, friends, food and fun.
